APLX for Linux (Personal Edition)
Licence
Subject to the conditions set out below, MicroAPL Limited ('MicroAPL') grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence
(the 'Licence') to use the MicroAPL software program (the 'Software')
known as APLX for Linux (Personal Edition), for your own use as a private individual only.
You may not use the Software for any commercial purpose whatsoever, nor
in the course of any paid employment, paid consultancy, or other work
for which you receive financial benefit.
Conditions
This Licence is granted to the individual named in the on-line form submitted to MicroAPL Ltd before the Software is downloaded. It is a condition of this Licence that you submit your real name, address and e-mail address, and that you agree that MicroAPL Ltd may send you occasional e-mails regarding the Software and related products of MicroAPL Ltd. MicroAPL will not pass on your details to any other organization unless required to by law. At any time you may notify MicroAPL in writing or by e-mail that you wish to be removed from the MicroAPL mailing list, in which case this Licence will terminate and you must no longer use the Software.
Copyright
This Software is owned by MicroAPL or its suppliers and is protected by
copyright law and international copyright treaty. You may print out the
Software documentation for your own use only.
Hazardous use
The Software is not fail-safe and must not be used in applications where
failure could cause injury, death, environmental damage, or direct
financial or physical loss.
Restrictions
You may not transfer the Software to a third party. You may not modify,
reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software.
No Warranty
MicroAPL provides the Software and associated documentation strictly for
non-commercial use only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Software is provided without warranty of any kind, either express
or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or warranties of
quality or performance. In no event will MicroAPL or its employees and
agents or suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or
inability to use the Software or the Software documentation, including,
but not limited to, any damages for lost profits or anticipated benefits,
even if they have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Miscellaneous
This Licence shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws
of England.
